Goals For Life sends former NFL football players into schools to facilitate goal setting workshops with students who demonstrate maladaptive behaviors. Drawing on their personal experiences, the athletes speak of the enthusiasm, drive and determination that were primary factors in assisting them in achieving their goals. Goals For Life athlete/mentors teaches at-risk youth that what applies to the world of sports, also applies to education. The children discover first hand that qualities such as integrity, preparation, high self-esteem, perseverance and the confidence to succeed are a winning combination in all fields and endeavors.
Dana Hall, is a former NFL player who was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1st round of the 1992 NFL Draft. Coach Hall is spear heading the “Goals For Life” movement here at Poly HS.
On Wednesday April 20, 20011 Mark Saey visited with Poly's Male Academy.

Mark Seay is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles. Mr. Saey visited with Poly’s Male Academy and talked about the importance of having dreams, establishing goals, and overcoming adversity (peer pressure).
